Hi There! I'm Arisha from @wakeupandkale. I’m a 24 year old athlete and recipe creator from Vancouver, Canada with a passion for promoting a healthy yet balanced lifestyle. I started @wakeupandkale to be able to share simple, healthy recipes that anyone can make!

With that in mind, I’ve created 5 no-bake vegan desserts that are every bit as easy as they are delicious!

Whether you’re in need of a last minute dessert or are just craving something sweet, these ideas are sure to level up your dessert game, no baking required! From salted caramel brownies, to cookie dough cups, there’s something for every sweet tooth here. Thank you for being here and following along on this journey with me. I can't wait to see what you guys whip up!

1. Salted Caramel Brownies

These brownies don’t require any baking and you’ll be shocked at just how healthy they are! The base is made from a date, cocoa and hazelnut base which creates the chewy and fudgy texture that we all crave in a brownie! They’re layered with an almond butter caramel that’s lightly sweetened with maple syrup, and is ooey gooey in all the best ways!

Top these off with some flaky sea salt because how can you go wrong with salted caramel and chocolate combined?! If you’ve never tried a no bake dessert before, these brownies will blow your mind!

2. Raw Vegan Nanaimo Bars

Nanaimo bars have been one of my all time favourite desserts since my childhood and are a classic Canadian treat that’s been around for generations! This healthy homemade version tastes just like the original but is made with just a handful of wholesome ingredients and doesn’t require any baking. The base is made from a coconut, date, walnut crust that is topped with a silky smooth cashew cream filling and finished with a layer of decadent rich chocolatey goodness!

I love storing these nanaimo bars in the freezer to have on hand for whenever that sweet tooth craving hits! For a perfect creamy texture, remove from freezer 10-15 minutes before devouring.

3. Oatmeal Cookie Energy Balls

If you’re an oatmeal cookie lover, these are an absolute must! They taste like you’re eating raw oatmeal cookie dough, except they’re made from simple healthy ingredients and don’t contain any eggs or flour!

I absolutely love energy balls for easy on the go snacking throughout the day. They’re so easy to whip up and are loaded with healthy carbs, protein, fat and fibre to keep you feeling fuelled and satisfied. Energy balls are also a no bake snack so they’re SO easy to whip up! All you do is blend the ingredients together in a food processor, form them into balls, and place them in the fridge to firm up!

4. No-Bake Cookie Dough Cups

These cookie dough cups start with a date cacao brownie base, layered with a soft and chewy cookie dough filling and are topped off with a decadent chocolate drizzle! Vegan, gluten free, and made from simple, healthy ingredients. These are sure to be every cookie dough lover’s dream!

Who doesn’t love eating raw cookie dough? These cookie dough cups are every cookie dough lovers dream come true, AND they’re made with just a handful of good for you ingredients. The cookie dough layer is sandwiched between a date cacao brownie base and a decadent chocolate topping for the sweet treat of your dreams! No one would ever guess that the soft and chewy cookie dough is made with a secret ingredient.... chickpeas!

You honestly can’t taste them at all and they create the creamiest doughy texture ever. Finally you can have all your cookie dough cravings satisfied and feel good about what you’re eating at the same time!

5. Birthday Cake Protein Bars

These secretly healthy birthday cake protein bars are made with good for you ingredients like chickpeas, cashew butter, and pure maple syrup! They taste like delicious raw cookie dough, no one would believe that the main ingredient is CHICKPEAS.

The best part about these bars is that they take only 5 minutes to whip up, and the only equipment required is a baking tray and a food processor! I love making a double batch of these and storing some in the freezer for whenever I need a quick energy boost or healthy snack.
