Nothing sings SPRING to me more than the beautiful cherry blossoms! It takes me back to my time in Japan, where this recipe inspiration comes from! Matcha was often paired with cherry blossom in delicious ice creams and other desserts. And that dreamy green-pink combination gives me all those happy spring vibes! 

 

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1.5 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 Tbsp coconut yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tsp matcha
  • 1 tsp rose powder
  • 1 Tbsp desiccated coconut
  • Handful of strawberries to top

 

    METHOD:
    1. Soak the chia seeds in the milk, stir in the coconut yogurt, dessicated coconut and maple syrup
    2. Divide the mixture into two separate small bowls
    3. In one bowl, add the matcha powder and stir in
    4. In the second, add the rose powder and stir in
    5. Layer the jars, up and top with strawberries
